A sustainable value chain, built with trusted partners
KACCO is a cooperative of 3,179 smallholder specialty Arabica farmers, located in the highlands of Kalehe, South Kivu. Despite growing demand from our international buyers, our growth is currently limited by insufficient processing and storage infrastructure, quality control capacity, and working capital to purchase coffee cherries.
We are seeking strategic investment to modernize this infrastructure, strengthen our export capacity, and create more added value within the DRC. This investment will help increase the volume of specialty coffee exported, improve quality and compliance with international standards, while raising the incomes of thousands of smallholder farmers.
Beyond economic performance, every investment supports our SURVIVORS COFFEE initiative, which helps rebuild the livelihoods of families affected by disasters and conflict in South Kivu, through a sustainable and inclusive value chain.
Modernizing washing stations and micro-stations to improve quality and traceability.
Additional warehousing to secure volumes between harvest and export.
Financing the cherry-buying campaign from 3,179 farmers.
Tools and training to meet specialty market requirements (EUDR, C.A.F.E. Practices...).
Whether you are a roaster, importer, funder or financial institution, we would be glad to discuss partnership opportunities with KACCO.
